In Our Prayers

As we reach our seventh week of isolating, let us continue to hold Emily Dolbeer and Gwen Porter in our prayers as they are both progressing well after having been diagnosed positive for Covid19. Let us continue to pray for Karen’s sister, Lynda and also Margaret, Amy’s mother.
Last week I had mentioned that Nurse Christine had her shoulder injured in a fall. She had surgery over the week and it was a major one and she is recovering. Please contact the church office or me if anyone has any needs for masks or hand sanitizer etc.
Willi Nassau was taken to hospital because of coughing and shortness of breath. He tested negative for Covid19, let us uphold him in our prayers for speedy recovery.
Lillian Finch, a guest of Pauline has been attending the vespers regularly. Yesterday her husband David fell down a flight of stairs and has been hospitalized, she has requested prayers for him. Pastor Philip

News from the Worship Team &
Links and Lessons
Over the last few weeks our worship team has been steadily improving our Zoom worship experience. Much of the music is now prerecorded by Amy and musical volunteers. At your request, we are now including a hymn leader and cantor. Richard Brubacher served in that role last Sunday. Amy is looking for other volunteers to take on musical leadership and is offering training for those who may be interested.
If it has been a week or two since you attended worship, may we suggest that you Zoom in this Sunday, or any night of the week. The links are below, so do try it again, or try it for the first time.
Pastor Philip offers a Vespers Service every night of the week at 7 pm and is also looking for readers and persons who may want to give the message.
We are proud of providing this new way to worship and are stronger for it. If you do join in, you will be glad you did …. and don’t be afraid to invite a friend. Every week we include a Children's Sermon.

April Financials
Thank You to our faithful members who continue to support our ministry during this unusual time. Our results for the four month period ending April 30, 2020 in the Ministry & Mission (Current) account reflect a deficit of $6,765 which only $1,433 worse than Plan. This is a remarkable achievement considering the shutdown of our facilities resulting in an inability to realize rental revenue.

Mount Zion's New YouTube Channel means more music
Now you can hear more of Mount Zion, at your own leisure! That's right, we now have our very own YouTube channel, where you can enjoy listening to preludes, postludes and special music from each Sunday's service. As we gather together separately, let music bring us closer together.
