Order your Christmas Dinner by next Tuesday and enjoy it Saturday night!
There may not be crowds singing the 12 Days of Christmas this year, but the same great food will be available for pickup. Mrs. Bell and her crew will be cooking up a storm in our kitchen preparing a traditional turkey dinner available for pick up at the Dawson Street entrance. The dinner which includes turkey and all the fixings plus a dessert will cost $35 per person.
There is a vegetarian, and another meat option also available.
The date for this turkey extravaganza is Saturday November 21. You can pick up your preordered dinner between 5:30 and 6:30 pm.
Order your dinners before Nov 17 by either emailing or phoning Di at 519 886 5820 or mtzion@mzlc.ca. You can drop off a cheque or pay for them by direct deposit noting that is payment for your dinner. Please DO NOT use Canada Helps as this is not a receiptable event. (instructions are below in 5 ways to Give to Mount Zion)
Mrs. Bell is also looking for a few volunteers to help peeling vegetables and deliver food to cars on the day of the event.
Don’t miss out, order by Tuesday. Enjoy it Saturday night.

In our Prayers
In Our Prayers
Let us continue to remember Margaret, David, Rosalie, Marjorie, George and Wilhelmina in our prayers, for wholeness and relief, as also Mary, Simon, Andrew and Alan and their families at the death of Carl Thompson that God’s peace and comfort would be real. George and Wilhelmina are Rob Zilles’ parents and Wilhelmina is in hospital after a stroke. Let us remember our province and all those involved in health care with the rising number of Covid19 cases.
Music Making at Mount Zion
Music Making continues at at Mount Zion although not in its usual ways. Choir reherasal began again last month and the choir spreads out acrosss the sanctuary. Listening to each other is challenging. After learning together, members record themselves at home or more recently with Amy in our new studio space...the narthex storage closet!
The space may not be beautiful, but when there is a will, coupled with talent and decication, there is a way.
