Roof Update

It won't be long now! Our green roof with its white patches will soon be replaced by a new shingled roof. Church Council approved a quote from Premium Roofing Inc of Peterburg to undertake our project. The work will begin in the spring. Premium Roofing was chosen after a robust search of suppliers. Thanks to the members of the roof task group, Richard Brubacher, Reinhold Schuster, Dennis Kuepfer, Kirk Swanson and Bill Gastmeier for their work.

Thank you too to the many of you are making this new roof possible through your generous donations.

Worship Notes

The Church calendar starts to get busy at this time of year. Reformation Sunday
(Oct 25) followed by All Saints Sunday (Nov 1) and Confirmation.

Nyah Marshall, daughter of Rosalind and Adrian, will be confirmed on Reformation Sunday.

At our post Vesper discussions, we are now looking at a book by the British theologian and writer N.T Wright, titled – God and the Pandemic: A Christian Reflection on the Coronavirus and its Aftermath.  He is a Biblical scholar and was the bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Durham, England,

Thanks to Susan Brubacher who decorated the sanctuary for Thanksgiving Sunday.

A reminder to those that would like to attend the in-person worship to please call in to the church office, Tues, Wed or Thurs am to reserve your seat. We need to know beforehand who and how many are coming so as to be able to assign the seats and maintain proper distancing.

In Our Prayers

It is with profound sorrow that I announce the death of Simon, son of Norma Pitt, one of our newer members from Maranatha.  Let us uphold Norma and the larger family in our prayers as they go through this time of grief, that God's peace would be real. Let us continue to remember Gwen, Margaret, Willie, and David, in our prayers that they would experience wholeness and relief.

Let us remember all health professionals and government authorities during this time when the number of Covid19 cases are rising in our province.

Food Vouchers are still in high demand!

This pandemic has been extremely hard on those who struggle with poverty,

please consider donating to our voucher fund.
