Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR)

Pre-Authorized Remittance (PAR) enables you to give an offering intentionally, proportionally and faithfully all year long—even when you cannot come to church—through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account.  More info about PAR

To make monthly offerings to your congregation through PAR, download this authorization form. Fill out the form and attach a void cheque. You can then give both to the PAR contact person in your congregation. Withdrawals from your bank account will occur on the 20th of each month after your specified start date.

 

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

If you’ve ever had to email money from your bank account to someone, you know how fast Interac e-Transfers work. E-Transfers allow you to send money to a person or business with an email address or mobile number and a bank account at a participating Canadian financial institution. Drop a Cheque in the Mail

Thankfully, Canada Post is still delivering mail! Remember not to mail cash, but you can always send a cheque to: Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 29 Westmount Road South, Waterloo, Ont. N2L 2K4. 

 

 

Drop an envelope in our mailbox

Di Groffen, our Office Administrator, checks our mailbox everyday, so you can always leave an envelope for us in it. You can also call Di ahead of time (Mt. Zion tel. # (519) 886-5820) to let her know when you are going to do so. She would then get your donation out of the mailbox and put it in our safe right away.

We regularly receive donations through Canada Helps, they direct deposit to our account automatically and notify us via email quickly. You will receive your donation receipt from Canada Helps immediately. All your receipts can be found in your Canada Helps account.
